Ocean Blue - Beneath the Rhythm and Sound - 1993 - Pretty nice new wave pop, kind of like some of the English new wave stuff from the late 80s.  Sublime is the standout here.

Ric Ocasek -  Beatitude - 1982 - The leader of the Cars solo album.  It is a lot like the Cars, surprisingly enough.

Ohio Express - Yummy, Yummy, Yummy/Zig Zag Single - 1968 - The cutsie pop song from the 60s, a la the Archies.

Ohio Players - Love Rollercoaster/It's All Over Single - 1975 - One of the classic songs from Disco.  Try not to love this song.  Wouldn't you know it, the b-side is even better.  Classic line "Ah, gal, put that suitcase down / you ain't kidding nobody / you can't leave me, woman / you love me".

Ohio Players - A Tribute to: The Best of the Ohio Players - Groovy disco. Fire is on here.

Öjebokören - Sweden's Rollicking Öjebokören - "Bright, youthful voices with the clear ring of laughter are ideal for the traditional songs of Sweden."  Another in my series of travel music albums.  Just try to stand still during Säkkijärven Polkka and not be moved by En Spelmans Jordäfard (A Fiddler's Last Journey).  Probably from the 50s or 60s but totally timeless.

100 Flowers - Presence of Mind/Dyslexia/Mop Dub Single - 1982 - They started off as a joke punk band, with the Urinals, before they changed their sound to something like the Fall.

The 101ers - Elgin Avenue Breakdown - 1981 - Before they were the Clash, Joe Strummer was a 101er.  They were a R&B pub band.  This is stuff from 1975-6.  The single Keys To Your Heart is really good as well as a variety of R&B, reggae and surf songs.  A preview of things to come.
Punknet Entry

Orange Juice - Simply Thrilled Honey/Breakfast Time Single - 1980 - A early single from this Scottish new wave pop band on one of my favorite record labels, Postcard, "the Sound of Young Scotland."

Orange Juice - Felicity/In A Nutshell Single - 1982 - Another couple of songs from this Scottish band.  The leader of the band, Edwyn Collins has released some solo albums in recent years.

Orbit - Selections From Libido Speedway - 1997 - Came stuffed in a music magazine.  Has the pretty good song Medicine (Baby Come Back) and Bicycle Song on the other side.

Orchestra Delmonico - Music For An Italian Wedding - The liner notes tell me that each member of the band is a veteran of thousands of weddings and Italian feasts.  What bigger recommendation do you need.  Most of this sounds like Laura's Theme from Dr. Zhavago.  Found in a thrift store.

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - Architecture & Morality - 1981 - Synthesizer pop.  Most of this is pretty pleasant.  Has two really great songs, Souvenir and Joan of Arc. (I used to have their first album, but I think it was borrowed/stolen in college.)

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - Dazzle Ships - 1983 - Little too much electronic noodling going on here.  Genetic Engineering and Radio Waves do poke their head out of it though.

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - Junk Culture - 1984 - They have become much more dance orientated here.  Talking Loud and Clear was a bit of a hit along with Tesla Girls.
