Darlene's Piece of the Sky

I am the wind in the trees.
I am warmth of spring sunshine.
I am the bright, fluffy clouds of a summer's day.
I am the crash of thunder, the crunch of fallen leaves, and the hush of falling snow.
I am laughter and music and I am silence.
I am the dust on old books and the spark of new ideas.
I am the fire of stars and the hiss and chill of comets.
I am as young as a child and as old the universe....

I am an attorney, a scholar, and a writer. I am president of Inferno Film Productions, LLC where I produce and sell movies. I am currently producing a movie titled The Highwayman.I have written and published articles on entertainment law, tax law, landlord and tenant law, international space law (planetary protection), and tort law (induced seismicity). I have dabbled a bit with short stories and poetry and had a little of each published. I also have written essays about Sherlock Holmes that were published in the Baker Street Journal. You can read my recent essay: "Sherlock Holmes & I." I am a member of the Hounds of the Internet and Dr. Watson's Neglected Patients. I have recently published a novel title The Crack in the Lens.

I am also one of the directors of Nyx Net, a non-profit organization which provides a free public Internet service.

I like to read, write, garden and take photographs. I am intrigued by science and history.
