Casey at the Bat as a sort of paen for a beloved
CS professor (known for his quick wit and usenet suave),
falling for a cheap troll.
No Man's Land is
based upon an experience I had with some manicurist's
tools.

I wrote while feeling foul and evil one day after a
rather severe illness.
