Escharotic Salve treatment of Ear Lesion

before

before

This basal cell carcinoma is some months old and
by April 7, 2008 it had grown to the point as shown above.

after

On April 8, 2008 I applied traditional `Black Salve'
principally consisting of bloodroot and zinc cloride,
topically to the entire lesion and covered it with cotton.

After 24-hours, with moderate to stinging pain, the lesion
was rendered as shown, as predicted by the action for this type
of salve. Pain was controlled by safe dosages of Ibuprofen.

It appears that the tissue of the lesion was destroyed, leaving
surrounding good tissue unaffected - as expected.

It's now April 10, 2008. I await the completion of the process
which will be the elimination of the residual `eschar' within two
weeks, as predicted by the age-old procedure.
