Summary

This report closes the formal assignments from the traditional PSP course. While not all of the information studied promises to be useful in the short term, the discipline involved with the process, and the self-knowledge gleaned from collecting this information, have been very illuminating. I also acknowledge the importance of the report-- and for me, the importance of comparing my progress to that of other students-- it gives a baseline for comparison, and helps to point out problem spots in the process.

I do wish there existed a "benchmark" for a healthy process, which described "ideal" numbers for review yield, time spent in phases, etc. Of course, such a benchmark is impossible-- the many differences in individual styles and development practices prevent any such tool. Still, I now have the tools and information to begin refining my process in a controlled and profitable manner-- and I intend to use them.
