It is important to realise that Nyx is a Unix based shell account system. This means that you use your Nyx account via an interactive login session. BOTS ARE NOT ALLOWED!
You will need a 'telnet' program to connect to Nyx. If you are connecting from another Unix based machine you can simply use the command:
Alternatively, if you have a Java-based Web browser you can use our Java Telnet applet at http://nyx.nyx.net:8002/

You should 'l'ook around the system and when you feel you want to join use the 'j'oin option.
In order to obtain full Nyx access, you must validate your account.
This involves a process of you proving to us that you are who you say you are. Please read the how-to file, follow the instructions, print out the form , fill it in and mail it to Nyx.
