Here are some letters I've sent to my email correspondents about my extended trip in Canada and Alaska which I began on August 23, 1996.

The September 6 letter covers my journey from Winnipeg to Edmonton, including stops in Regina and Calgary and a trip to the Northwest Territories.

The September 21 letter covers a trip on the Alaska Highway, north to the Arctic Circle, back to Whitehorse, down the Alaska Marine Highway through the Inside Passage, to the Queen Charlotte Islands, and down through British Columbia to Seattle.

The October 3 letter covers a few days in Seattle and Vancouver, a weekend on Vancouver Island (including Victoria) then across the Kootenays to Calgary.

The October 15 letter covers mountain climbing in Banff, trails and a huge fire in Saskatchewan, and a journey to Toronto via Winnipeg, Sault Ste. Marie, and Niagara Falls.

The October 28 letter covers Toronto and Ottawa, and my triumphant return to Minneapolis via Winnipeg.

This is a humorous final commentary on my trip.
