This is an adaptation of the movie, with illustrations from the movie itself. The first part of the book is a history of Disney animation, and the second part is a detailed treatment of the making of "Hercules". -Thomas, Bob: "The Making of a Walt Disney Classic: Beauty and the Beast", Hyperion, New York, 1991 (no ISBN). This is a repackaging of the second part of Thomas' 1991 "Disney's Art of Animation". It's available in the BatB Collector's Edition, which also includes a BatB videotape, a BatB:WIP videotape, a CD of the soundtrack and a lithograph. -Walt Disney Feature Animation Department: "Disney's Beauty and the Beast: An Animated Flip Book", Hyperion, New York, 1992 (ISBN: 1-56282-888-6). Contains a sequence of 48 frames from the ballroom scene, so you can flip through the book and see Belle and the Beast dancing. Turn the book over, and you have the same 48 frames, but in the stage of cleaned-up pencil animation, rather than completed animation. -Woolverton, Linda: "Beauty and the Beast" (first draft, 14 June 1990), Walt Disney Pictures, Glendale?, 1990 (ISBN: none). This is the first draft of the script for "Beauty and the Beast", and is available from some companies that carry movie scripts. The differences between this draft and the final version are numerous and very interesting. -no author given: "The Art of Beauty and the Beast", Sotheby's, New York, 1992 (ISBN: 0-9622588-2-8). This is the Sotheby's catalog for their auction of BatB art, which consisted largely of original background paintings and reproduced cels, and also some maquettes. Introduction, and pictures of the 249 lots. -no author given: "Disney Beauty and the Beast Cinestory Comic", Joe Books Ltd, Toronto, ON, Canada, 2017 (Print ISBN: 978-1-77275-453-7). This is a graphic novel version of the movie, incorporating art from the film, and also the dialogue and song lyrics. -no author given: "Disney's Beauty and the Beast: A Postcard Book", Running Press, Philadelphia, 1992 (ISBN: 1-56138-162-4). Contains a short introduction, and 30 postcards with art from the movie (some of the pictures have been flipped left-to-right). -no author given: "Disney's How to draw Beauty and the Beast", Walter Foster Publ., Tustin, CA, 1993 (ISBN: 1-56010-111-3, hardcover; 1-56010-162-8, paperback).
