Belle as Mary Marvel (sketch)

A while back there was a drawing of Belle as Supergirl ( fanart #118 ), but that wasn't the best match, since Supergirl is a blonde while Belle is a brunette. However, Mary Marvel and Belle both have brown hair, and there's a great Mary Marvel cover from Wow Comics #38 ( Sep-Oct 1945 ) …

… for inspiration, so here's "Belle as Mary Marvel." Usually only finished pen & ink art is put up on the web, but for a change of pace, here's a pencil sketch. (FYI, Mary Marvel is the sister of DC Comics' Captain Marvel.)
