MY GIRLS ARE IN NC, BUT WE CAN HELP YOU OUT.
Both bitches have just been spayed, 1yr. rabies 3/31/99 & Parvo booster
3/31/99
I am a non profit, rescue, although people make sure my rescues are feed
well.
The girls have beautiful dispositions. Our shelter kept them separated,
since the people were trying to get them to fight, on the main street of
town, so you know they are not fighters. My darling SO unknowingling put
them in the same kennel, they have been super. I have an on line
application, they go with the same contracts that I use for pet puppies.
These girls were in the shelter since October, they really need a family to
watch TV with. If you qualify, we will get them to you, meet you half way,
etc.

I have a pit bull I need to place. Someone ditched her at my house because I run a rescue, but I only rescue small dogs. I don't have the room for a dog her size. She has shown aggressive tendencies toward other dogs, but is wonderful with people. The people who dropped her off said she tried to go after her grandkids, but the grandkids were very young, and the only thing I can figure is that they tortured her. She has scars on her face from fighting (I can only assume) However, I can't stress enough, she is great with me and the other adults I have exposed her to. She is fawn in color, with a black nose and brown eyes. The vet says she has been spayed, and she is up to date on all her shots. She is playful, but not really hyper. I really, really can't keep her anymore, as I have no room, and I can't trust her not to kill my other dogs. She hasn't actually attacked any of them, but has really tried to drag me to them. I don't want to send her to a shelter that might put her to sleep, but I can't keep her. Please let me know if you can help, or if you can even suggest someone who can. thanks Jessica

Youwie is 7 month old, not fixed, black and white (mostly black), light brown eyes, black nose, 39lb., in best health, American Pit Bull Terrier. She had all her vaccinations required for her age. She is very good with people, very friendly and happy dog. She may be overwhelming for smaller children because of strength, size and continuous energy to play. However, if by herself she will be quiet and peaceful, just playing with her toys. She is good with other animals, but better with animals of her own size. She understands basic commands like "come", "sit", "stay", "no". Youwie is house broken and I had no problems with her, but I already have two other dogs and can't keep her. I found Youwie on 04/26/99 and was unable to locate her owner. Please help me to find a good home for her (ASAP). Thank you. P.S. (I will be able to send you a picture of her, but I need to know the format ".jpg", "gif", ...)

Help! I found a puppy on the 30th of April, skinny and scared. He looked like a lab mix. I took him home and fed him, and then I took him to the Humane Society on Monday, the 3rd of May. The long and the short of it is that they told me that he was a lab mix, but that he was mixed with Pit Bull and so they would put him to sleep. This is automatic.
He is the sweetest little thing, but I am moving in 4 weeks, and CANNOT HELP HIM past that time. I will take him anywhere within reason in order to find a home for him.
He is a male pup, lab/put bull mix and all black (except for a little white on his chest and on the very tips of his toes), maybe about ten weeks old (=/- a couple of weeks. He is pretty skinny, so it is hard to tell) and kind of gangly, with long legs. Guessing him to be around 8 pounds. Will make good frisbee dog! He is a little shy, but with a little encouragement very loving and cuddly. He is not extremely adventuresome, and does not like to wander very far from his caretaker. He loves the kennel (and any den-like place) and has thus far slept through the night in the crate without a fuss. He has responded well to discipline without either cowering or becoming aggressive. No promises, but he has not had an accident in the house, and relieves himself right away when he goes outside.
