What can be expressed with a piano? Friedrich Nietzsche spent the last
years of his life composing piano music and he expressed wide-ranging
emotions, beauty and force. Nietzsche had said enough with words
(which so many of his readers misconstrued); he would now let the
piano keys speak for him. The piano was his final saving grace.
