EXPERIENCE

MicroStrategy                        (January, 1999 – currently employed)

Configuration Management Engineer: Responsible for daily builds of the MicroStrategy-7 release.  Writing and maintaining build and test scripts using WinNT and Perl. Maintain the source control using ClearCase and SourceSafe.  Installation of builds using Microsoft Access and Install Shield.  Assist developers in implementing configuration management procedures and software tools. Writing, maintaining, running sophisticated automated build scripts integrating offsite overnight builds into the MicroStrategy-7.1 installation.

   Accomplishments:

·        Produce a daily development build for the MicroStrategy-7 platform releases.

·        Create automated Build scripts which when can run through an entire build process.

·        Setup and use ClearCase within these scripts using branching and version control.

·        Run scripted build tests, coordinated with Quality Engineers for builds’ acceptance.

·        Maintain Intranet website using Microsoft InterDev, HTML, ASP, and JavaScript.

·        Successfully integrated acquisitioned NCR OLAP Provider into the MicroStrategy-7

 

Alcatel Data Networks          (February, 1997 – December, 1998)

Associate in Configuration Management - Technical Staff III: 

Configuration project leader in coordinating and building High Speed Switching (HSS) software disks using an ORACLE database, C based UNIX programming, UNIX shell scripting, and HTML Intranet documentation and programming.  Confirmed between software developers, content coordinators, and project managers the precise contents and procedures approval for each HSS disk release in a project involving the US and France.

   Accomplishments:

·        Produce HSS disks used by major companies like US Sprint and the Dutch Police.

·        Create and maintain Intranet web page programs and documentation.

·        Create and maintain UNIX shell tool scripts in order to accomplish tasks quicker.

·        Maintain SCCS - UNIX directories of shared global files used by developers.
