Fritzler was born Dec. 25, 1923, in Windsor to Conrad and Katherine Dumler Fritzler. He was raisedd on a farm in the Greeley-Windsor community and attended local schools. He started farming with his father and later did custom combining in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado. On March 25, 1951, he was married to Lillian Weimer in Fort Morgan. They made their home and farmed for many years in the Bijou Hill area. Fritzler farmed for himself for many years and in later years in partnership with his son. He is survived by his wife, Lillian of Fort Morgan; daughter, Glenda Schlessinger of Los Lunas, N.M.; son, Grayson of Fort Morgan; two brothers, Gerhart of Fort Morgan and Conrad of Laramie, Wyo.; one half-brother, Robert Ehrlich of Wiggins; two half-sisters, Katie Witman of Fort Collins and Emma Weiderspoon of Timnath, and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Gabriel Alan, and one brother, Edward. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Jolliffe Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
