Nugent has been settled. When Mrs.JaneNugent died she left property worth $20,000. Ten children sur- vived her. She left eight of them $1 apiece. To Mrs. Jane Patterson, wife of Police Inspector Patterson, and Frank Nugent, she bequeathed $10,000 apiece. The other children contested the will on the ground that their mother was of un- sound mind and had been subjected to undue Influence. Judge Lathrop, in the Superior Court yesterday, sustained their contention, and the will has been sent back to the Probate Court and the decisi- ion recorded. =======================================================
