      Now on this ______day of __________________ 1948 this matter came on for hearing on the petition of Clyde Leslie Luth and Lola Ramona (Harding) Luth, husband and wife, duly verified, parying that Carren June Ferris, a minor child, might be adopted by them, and
      WHEREAS this court assigned the 29th day of November 1948 at 10:30 A.M. in the County Court Room of the County Courthouse at Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska as the time and place of hearing, where and when any and all persons interested in or having any interest in said proceedings might appear and show cause, if any there might be, why the prayer of petition should not be granted, and
      WHEREAS due and proper notice was given all persons by publication as required by law, and no one appearing on the set date at the appointed hour to oppose the adoption and petition herein, and
      WHEREAS Clyde Leslie Luth and Lola Ramona (Harding) Luth have each made the statements required by law for the adoption of Carren June Ferris, and 
      WHEREAS the Board of Control of State Institutions of the State of Nebraska has filed herein the orders of the District Court of Holt County, Nebraska, duly authenticated, committing said minor child to said Board of Control, together with the relinquishment of said minor child to the petitioners herein,for adoption,by the said Board of Control, and a retification of said relinquishment by the Board of Control, and
      WHEREAS testimony was taken and evidence adduced, and the orders of the District Court of Holt, County, Nebraska committing Carren June Ferris to the State Board of Control of State Institutions of the State of Nebraska, said orders being dated 19 March 1947 and December 1, 1948, together with the relinquishment and subsequent ratification of relinquishment by the said Board of Control were considered by the Court, and the Court being fully advised in the premises, and after a full hearing, finds as follows:
      
           1. That the Board of Control of State Institutions of the State of Nebraska, by virtue of the orders of the District Court of Holt County, Nebraska, has good and lawful authority to release and relinquish said Carren June Ferris to the petitioners herein for adoption; that said minor Carren June Ferris was committed to said Board of Control by the orders of the said District Court of Holt county, Nebraska; and that the said Board of Control has consented and does consent to the adoption of Carren June Ferris by the petitioners herein and relinquished her to them
           2. That Carren June Ferris has been in the care, custody and control of the petitioners herein for more than the six months last past
        3. 3. That it is to the best interest of said Carren June Ferris that she be adopted by Clyde Leslie Luth and Lola Ramona (Harding) Luth, husband and wife
           4. That Carren June Ferris and Corine June Ferris are one and the same person
           5. That the name of Carren June Ferris should be changed to, and she should hereafter be known as, Lynda June Luth

       NOW THEREFORE IT IS CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED BY THE COURT that said minor child, Carren June Ferris is one and the same identical person as Corine June Ferris ; that said Carren June Ferris be, and she hereby is fully and legally adopted by said Clyde Leslie Luth and Lola Ramona (Harding) Luth, husband and wife; and that said Carren June Ferris shall be known hereafter by, and have the name of Lynda June Luth, and that said Lynda June Luth shall have all legal rights, privileges and immunities and heirship as if she had been born to Clyde Leslie Luth and Lola Ramona (Harding) Luth in lawful wedlock, and both said child and adoptive parents shall be subject to all duties of child and parents. and the parents of said child and the State of Nebraska shall hereafter stand relieved of all parental duties and obligations towards, and all responsibility for said minor child and shall have no rights whatsoever over it for any purpose; further, the Board of Control of State Institutions of the State of Nebraska shall hereafter stand relieved of all duties towards, and all responsibility for said minor child and shall have no rights over it from this day forth
