He had gone to the field to put up hay, and was in his usual apparent good health, and nothing was thought of his absence until his body was found lying beside a stack of hay where he had evidently laid down to rest and had been fatally sticken. Mr. Brown was about 73 years of age and had resided in this community for the past 30 years. He leaves a wife, three sons, and two brothers, besides a large circle of friends to mourn his sudden departure. ______________________________________________________________________________ name of newspaper: The Bridgeport News-Blade address: PO Box 400 Bridgeport, Nebraska 69336-0400 phone number: +1-308-262-0675 website: https://www.newsblade.com/ date of article: Thursday, August 22, 1929 page: page 2 column: 1 source: https://www.newspapers.com/image/670725332/ OBITUARY Henry, son of Bartholomew and Martha Thueber Brown was born in Maple Grove, Quebec, Canada, February 8, 1857, died at his farm near Bridgeport, Morrill County, Nebraska, August 15, 1929, at the age of 72 years, six months and seven days. There were no marks or bruises to indicate that he had been thrown from the rake. The team had gone only a short distance to the gate and was found standing quietly, still hitched to the rake when his body was found. Mr. Brown was brought up in the Church of England or the Episcopal church. However in 1883, at Rockwell City, Iowa, he united with the M.
