To continue with the pajama party...

I read somewhere that the Japanese view the act of
sleeping quite differently than Westerners.

The Japanese think of sleeping as one of life's supreme
sensual pleasures.

In the west, we view it similarly to food.

Here in the U.S. you might hear the phrase,
"I gotta get me some 'shut-eye'", which in my opinion
is similar to saying, "I gotta stuff my face w/ a Big Mac".

So, it was in the Japanese spirit that I thought up my
poem while I was lounging in bed late for work.
