They ar e also used by the University of Colorado - Boulder Multicultural Engineering/Colorado Mathematics Engineering Science Association (MESA) tutoring program.

All textbooks combine the best of good math textbooks: theory, problem solving, and computation problems. Nothing should be compromised. They also all offer real-life application problems to introduce students to the fields of aviation, meteorology, computer science, engineering, etc., to show how math is used by these professionals, and to inspire them to desire to become like these professionals.
