  A question which appears frequently on newsgroups is: "How can I find
someone's e-mail address?" 

  There are many different techniques for doing this.  The simplest is to
ask the person for their e-mail address.  If that is not practical, the
best resources for digging up an e-mail address can be found on the World
Wide Web.  (To access the Web from Nyx's menus go to the `communication'
menu and use `lynx'.)

  Whowhere (http://www.whowhere.com/) allows you to search for e-mail
addresses and phone numbers of individuals, businesses and government
agencies.

  Several search engines have e-mail search facilities, including
Excite (http://www.excite.com/Reference/people.html) and Yahoo
(http://www.yahoo.com/search/people/).
